For the last a few decades, nanotechnology part has been developed to electocatalysis, plasmonics, medical diagnosis. Among them, the nanoelectronics have been attention because of accelerated exhaustion of fossil fuel and environmental problem. This catalysis depends on high energy surface, high surface with shape and metal composition with enhanced activity. In order to have high activity on surface, it is important to have different surface energy or surface area according to shape control of nanoparticles (NPs). The shape controlled NPs is attributed by chemical reduction, sonochemical method, decomposition of organometallic precursors, and surfactants. There is a way to increase the activity of the catalyst by adjusting its shape, but this can be improved by changing the bonding energy of the surface of the metal alloy. Here I report nanocatalysts with high activity by controlling shape and metal combination.
