Transparent conductive film became very popular materials. Most of transparent conductive materials are made using transparent conductive oxide (TCO) such as indium tin oxide (ITO). However, the ITO includes limitations to be used in wearable display applications. To substitute ITO, copper nanowires (Cu NWs) are studied as promising materials for transparent electrode applications. However, the growth mechanism in water-based synthesis remains unclear. In this thesis, overall objective is figuring out the understanding growth mechanism of Cu nanowire in water-based synthesis and developing method to integrate with inorganic semiconductors. In the chapter 2, we try to understand the roles of structure directing agent (SDA) in water-based synthesis. In the chapter 3, we studied the integration and interface of Cu NW and Si electronics. In the chapter 4, we demonstrated Si nanomembrane integrated with Cu NW transparent electrode.
