아세토페논이 포함된 혼합물로부터 선택적 산화반응을 통한 벤조산의 제조방법Method of Producing Benzoic Acid by Selective Oxidation of Mixture Comprising Acetophenone
본 발명은 아세트산 용매 및 망간염 촉매의 존재하에 아세토페논을 선택적으로 산화시켜 벤조산을 생성하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 공정에서 발생하는 디프로필렌글리콜 또는 트리프로필렌글리콜 등과 같은 부산물을 혼합한 아세토페논 혼합물을 이용하여 높은 수율의 벤조산을 경제적인 방법으로 생성할 수 있으며, 이후 생성된 벤조산을 일부 재활용하여 벤조산을 더 효율적으로 생산할 수 있다.
