dc.description.abstract | Disclosed is a technology of encoding haptic information on images or decoding haptic information from images. The method of encoding the haptic information on the images according to the present invention includes: generating haptic information; generating encoding target data by using the haptic information and header information associated with the haptic information; and generating an encoded image by encoding the encoding target data by using a least significant bit (LSB) of byte data of each of the original image pixels. As a result, the present invention can simply encode/decode the haptic information while maintaining an original image format. | - |
