| dc.description.abstract | 소형 무인기 및 드론은 기존 레이다 시스템들로는 탐지하기가 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 소형 무인기를 정확히 탐지할 수 있는 마이크로 체인 레이다 시스템 개념을 개발하고 시연하였다. 실험 결과 1km까지 소형 무인기를 탐지하고 위치, 고도, 속도 등 필요한 정보를 추출하는데 성공하였다. 제안한 레이다를 고출력 송신기와 빔 가변을 통하여 더 높은 분해능과 더 넓은 탐지 범위를 갖는 레이다로 발전시킨다면, 세계적으로 더 큰 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있을 것 으로 기대된다. | - |

Small UAVs and drones are not easy to detect as the traditional radar systems. The concept of micro-chained radar system is proposed, and demonstrated to accurately detect these small UAVs. Experimental results detect small UAVs and succeeded in extracting the necessary information to detect, classify, locate, and potentially even take control of UAVs that pose a threat. The proposed radar is very useful to detect small UAV which is a malicious individual trying to harm others, those operating UAVs have the potential to disrupt public safety. | - |
