dc.description.abstractRecently, $Pt_3M$ (M=Fe,Ni,Co,Cu…) intermetallic compounds are being spotlighted as candidates for ORR catalysts. To form intermetallic compound, high temperature is required, but particles are aggregated in this process. In this study, we prevented particle aggregation by carbon coating. As a result, ECSA was almost maintained $(37.6 → 33.3 m^2/g)$ and $Pt_3Fe$ structure was formed. $Pt_3Fe/C$ exhibited $0.454 m^2/g$ in initial mass activity. After ADT 8,000 cycles, there wasn’t serious particle aggregation and composition was maintained. As a result, $Pt^3Fe/C$ exhibited $0.343 m^2/g$ in mass activity, after ADT 8,000 cycles. We suggested $Pt_3M$ intermetallic compounds are good candidates for the most active and durable ORR catalysts.-
