dc.description.abstractRecently, as wearable electronics are being utilized as key components of next generation technologies such as fitness monitoring technology and virtual augmented reality, the demand for this technology is growing exponentially. With this growing demand, the need for highly efficient and electrochemically reliable energy storing device that can supply stable power to wearable electronics under bending and tension stress is also rising. In this study, flexible and stretchable cotton fiber and electrochemically reliable supercapacitor are combined to form an energy storage system that can supply stable power to wearable electronics. Electrochemical efficiency and reliability improved system is designed using wearable electronics’ tension stress and conductive polypyrrole layer. Furthermore, photo-responsive multi-functional supercapacitor that is produced by combing transparency and flexibility found in cellulose nanofiber with electrochromism is also proposed in this study.-
