The next generation optoelectronics have received attention in various research fields such as materials, nano, optics and electronic devices. One of the critical goals in optoelectronics fields is to achieve efficient light-electrical energy conversion and it should be engineered properly on demand. Especially, the conversion efficiency is very important issue for the photovoltaics and light emitting devices (LED) fields for commercial viable. In this study, various nano-scale engineering schemes have been proposed to construct efficient optoelectronic devices. Furthermore, it will be demonstrated how these engineering schemes could be applied in real device configurations such as wearable applications.
