In spite of abundance of raw materials, low price, and high theoretical capacity, since the cathode does not contain lithium (Li), lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries have a problem that is inevitably used as Li anode. During the charging and discharging cycle of Li-S batteries, lithium dendrite had grown increasingly. In addition, polysulfide which is formed by reaction with sulfur and lithium dissolved into the electrolyte to crossing the separator. As such fundamental problems of Li and S caused significant impacts on cycle life and safety of the Li-S batteries. Due to high energy density, Lithium-ion batteries are one of the successfully commercialized to be used as an energy storage for mobile electronics. Recently, hands carrying mobile electronics are slowly transformed into wearable electronics. As often as applied any part of human body to use such as the wrist, the wearable electronics were associated with vision, hearing, smell, and sense of touch etc., innovative development such as augmented reality and virtual reality beyond the scope of the existing mobile electronics. However, design of wearable electronics on the market today are not far off in the form of a conventional mobile electronics. In this study to overcome these problems, in case of the next generation Li-S batteries were introduced into mechanical and chemical approaches, and in case of the next generation Li-ion batteries introduced into a structural approach.
