물리 계층에서의 타임스탬핑 장치 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 타임스탬핑 장치는 물리
계층을 통해 시간 동기화 패킷을 식별하게 하는 마커를 삽입하거나 수신한 패킷의 마커를 제거하고 타임스탬프를
생성한다. 이에 의해 정확하고 정밀한 타임스탬핑이 가능하다.
