본 발명은 글리세롤(glycerol)을 탄소원으로 하여 부탄올을 포함하는 대사산물 생성능이 증가된 변이 미생물 및 이를 이용한 부탄올을 포함하는 대사산물의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 변이 미생물 및 이를 이용한 부탄올을 포함하는 대사산물의 제조방법을 이용하면 아세톤 등의 부산물의 생산 없이 글리세롤로부터 고농도/고수율의 부탄올 또는 1,3-프로판디올을 생산시키는 효과가 있다.
