자기유변유체 및 그의 제조방법A Magnetorheological Fluid and Process for Preparingthe Same
본 발명은 물/오일 에멀젼(water in oil emulsion)에 표면에 수분친화성의 계면활성제가 흡착된 자성입자(magnetic particle)가 분산된 자기유변유체(magnetorheological fluid) 및 그의 제조방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 자기유변유체는 유화제가 용해된 오일에 증류수를 첨가하고, 교반하여 연속상인 물/오일 에멀젼을 수득하고 전기 에멀젼에 표면에 수분친화성의 계면활성제가 흡착된 자성입자를 분산시켜서 제조한다. 본 발명의 자기유변유체는 자성입자 표면의 계면활성제와 물 분자간의 상호 작용을 통하여 안정성이 향상되었으므로, 자기유변유체를 이용한 각종 장비의 개발에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.자기유변유체
