본 발명은 표면 에너지가 조정된 블레이드 코팅 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로 더욱 상세하게는 블레이드의 표면에 존재하는 코팅 균일도에 악영향을 미치는 요소를 제거함으로써, 코팅면을 균일하게 형성 가능한 표면 에너지가 조정된 블레이드 코팅 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따르면 블레이드의 표면에 존재하는 코팅 균일도에 악영향을 미치는 요소를 제거하여 균일한 코팅면을 형성할 수 있으며, 코팅면이 균일하게 형성됨에 따라 블레이드 코팅 방법으로 높은 효율의 유기발광소자를 제조할 수 있다.
