본 발명은 알지네이트 염(alginate salt) 및 2가 양이온 염을 포함하는, 희소금속 또는 희토류금속의 금속 회수제, 그의 제조방법 및 금속 회수 방법에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 따른 금속 회수제는 희소 금속 및 희토류 금속을 효과적으로 흡착, 회수할 수 있으며, 상기 금속 회수제의 제조방법은 생분해성 고분자 물질을 사용하므로, 유해한 화학 약품이 수반되는 공정이 배제되어, 환경친화적이다.
