dc.description.abstractThe present invention relates to a recombinant microorganism with an increased butanol production ability, and a preparation method of butanol using the same, and more specifically, to a recombinant microorganism of which the butanol production ability is increased by the manipulation of metabolic pathways, and a preparation method of butanol using the same. The recombinant microorganism with an increased butanol production ability according to the present invention is characterized in that a gene encoding an enzyme which converts acetyl CoA into acetate is deleted in a host microorganism having a gene encoding enzymes involved in the biosynthetic pathway into acetyl CoA and butyryl CoA. Since the recombinant microorganism according to the present invention obtained by the manipulation of the metabolic flow of a microorganism can selectively produce butanol with a high efficiency, it is useful as a microorganism producing an industrial solvent and a transportation fuel.-
