| dc.description.abstract | 본 발명은 SOMNUS(SOM) 또는 이와 기능적 동등물의 세포내 수준을 조절하여 식물의 종자의 발아를 변화시키는 방법에 관한 것으로서 보다 상세하게는 서열번호 1로 표시되는 아미노산 서열을 갖는 폴리펩티드 또는 상기 폴리펩티드와 적어도 60%이상의 아미노산 서열 상동성을 갖는 폴리펩티드의 세포내 수준을 조절하여 식물의 발아를 변화시키는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 SOM은 GA 및 ABA의 합성 및 분해에 관여하는 유전자의 발현을 조절하여 GA 및 ABA의 양을 조절하고, 파이토크롬 A 및 파이토크롬 B에 대한 음성 조절자 역할을 하여 발현을 억제하는 경우 종자의 발아에서 빛의 필요성을 감소시키고, 과발현시 빛의 필요성을 증가하여 보다 강한 세기의 빛을 필요로 하는 등 식물의 발아를 조절한다. 따라서, 본 발명의 SOM 또는 이와 기능적 동등물의 세포내 수준을 조절하는 경우 식물의 종자의 발아를 조절할 수 있으며, 종자의 발아가 변화된 식물 및 이의 종자를 얻을 수 있다. | - |
