An open-loop maximum efficiency tracking wireless power transfer system using a magnetic resonance coupling for implantable biosensors is proposed. The proposed wireless power transfer system provides the stable power regardless of the variation of the operating distance between the transmitting and receiving antennas. According to the adaptive impedance matching algorithms with the minimum reflected power conditions, the proposed system achieves the improved power transfer efficiency of maximum 45% within the operating distance.
