Attosecond-Resolution Timing Jitter Spectrum Measurement of Free-Running Mode-Locked Lasers Over 10 Decades of Fourier Frequency

We show timing jitter spectrum measurement of free-running mode-locked lasers from 1-mHz to 40-MHz Fourier frequency. The demonstrated method can resolve different noise mechanisms that cause specific jitter characteristics from [removed]1000-s time scales.
