This paper proposes a video audience measurement framework for MPEG-DASH. In current untrustworthy over-the-top (OTT) environments, the proposed framework utilizes segment-hashing to collect and offer video audience measurement to third party organizations while ensuring the protection of consumers' privacy. The system generates hash values for video streaming segments, establishes a video information database, and manages the generated hash data to retrieve users' video consumption patterns. Proof of concept implementation has been done to show the realization possibility of the proposed system based on HTML5 standards using JavaScript DASH libraries.
