dc.description.abstract | Recently, the use of smart devices has been increasing, so the demand of frequency for telecommunication has been significantly growing up. To meet the demand of frequency, we provide a new estimation method to efficiently use allocated frequency. In the recommendation ITU-R M.1768-1, the mean IP packet delay is analyzed based on the M/G/1 queue with nonpreemptive priority condition. However, it does not fit well to the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access scheme. To solve this problem, we use the M/G/k queue with nonpreemptive priority condition, because the multiserver queueing model fits better to the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access scheme than the single server queueing model. We derive the mean waiting time of each priority class, and compare our results with the existing results. For the validation of our results, we use simulation and compare our results with simulation results in various conditions. We observe that our results are more appropriate than the existing results in the large coefficient of variation case. | - |
