dc.description.abstractHEVC(High Efficiency Video Coding) is the next generation standard of video coding to improve compression performance in comparison with previous compression standards. We propose a highperformance, low-area Deblocking filter in HEVC with single-port memories. With the proposed singleport odd and even memory structure taking up low area, each pixel of block boundary can be filtered without structural hazard. As a result, the proposed Deblocking filter can reduce area for memory by 25% and support 8K resolution @60fps application with 218MHz working frequency in real time.-
