Redesigning government process for issuance spectrum frequency license in Indonesia

Abstract

Giving the service to citizens is one of the tasks from the government; one way to improve itsservice is with reducing the service time when the citizens want to acquire a license. There areseveral ways that government uses to reduce service time for example: conducting GovernmentProcess Reengineering, Utilizing Information Technology and many more. In this research, we willconduct Government Process Reengineering in spectrum licensee in Indonesia. In spectrumlicense in business process, it takes 44 working days. It indicates that we can improve the servicetime with lesson learned from another countries and makes the best practice.
