In modern society, interactive technology that allows for the emergence of the interconnectivity of human beings and computers has been developed. Consequently, the reciprocal interactions of information and users have become more diverse. Therefore, given the importance interaction design, an understanding of the user is essential for industry and society. Broadly, interaction design focuses on the promotion of exchange between applied systems; narrowly, it emphasizes behavior that arises from communication. In this research, a methodology is developed to maximize user emotional effects that depend on interaction technology. This research begins by identifying the effective interfaces that underlie the purposes of users and suggests proper interaction methods by proposing appropriate place discriminations, public or private. Second, it concentrates on the rich interactions of mobile applications. There have been many attempts to reconstruct damaged historical and cultural sites with digital technology. AR Window and AR Teleport are mobile-augmented-reality applications, designed for mobile phones, for such a purpose. Users can travel to the past by means of these applications and can attempt rich movement-based interactions, such as jumping, blowing, moving fingers, and touching. In this study, the effects of these rich interactions on the interest and awareness of users was investigated. It was determined that users were affected emotionally while they were moving their bodies for interactions. It also concentrated on the affective responses of user-centered storytelling interaction in two different galleries. The expansion of visibility with Nanotechnology for art creation was analyzed, and research on the use of storytelling for the experiential expansion of interactive art was conducted. The latter probed the influence of storytelling interaction of audience emotions. On the basis of this research, this study provides an effective means of designing user-...eng
