A new numerical procedure for the analysis of the transitional separation bubble is presented. In the partially parabolic procedure, the viscous-inviscid interaction is naturally accounted for as the governing equations preserve the ellipticity of the pressure field and the higher order curvature terms which are neglected in the Interactive Boundary Layer(IBL) methods are included. One laminar and two transitional bubbles have been studied ; the results demonstrate the accuracy and the reliability of the present method especially for the leading edge separation bubble. It is also found that the surface curvature and the boundary conditions play an important role in obtaining the domain independent solution.
