dc.description.abstractGenerally the vehicles have a lot of vibration and noise. Since these vibration and noise give driver and passengers an unpleasant feeling, many methods reducing the vibration or the noise of a vehicle have been developed. These methods are usually classified into the passive and theaactive ones. In case of the vibration, the example of the passive method is the suspension using the mechanical system. But the active method uses the actuators, sensors, controllers and so on. The causes of the vibration of a car are engine, wind, road profile and so on. Among them the main cause of the vibration is engine. The AVC(active vibration control) is used to a vehicle system to minimize the vibration from the engineof the car. But eliminating the vibration may not be adequate. There are many type of the car as the location or driving mode of the engine. For example, when CDA(Cylinder De-Activation) engine is used, as some cylinders are stopped, the vibration of the car change abruptly. So the original vibration has to be maintained in order not for the passengers to experience the sudden change of vibration feelings. In this paper, we propose an AVC algorithm based on the conventional algorithm to keep the preferred vibration. This is the desired power spectrum having the information of the frequency and magnitude. The adaptive algorithm can make the proper control signal. Considering the power of the control signal, the system without adjusting the phase of signals requires much energy. We confirmed the feasibility of the proposed method by simulation using the Simulink.-
