dc.description.abstract | In this paper, a new melody decision method and a smoothing process based on weight of fundamental frequency (F0) are proposed. Weight of each candidate F0 is obtained by predominant-F0 estimation system (M. Goto, 2003). The proposed melody decision method is more efficient and faster than previous decision methods. Also, the smoothing process increases the accuracy of melody estimation. Experimental results are comparable with results of previous F0 estimation methods based on harmonic models. | - |
