Adaptive Normalized UMP-BP Decoding Algorithm for Irregular Low-Density Parity Check Codes
In this paper, we propose an adaptive normalized UMP-BP decoding algorithm for irregular LDPC codes. This is an extension of modified UMP-BP decoding algorithm for regular LDPC codes [9]. The proposed algorithm has less complexity than BP algorithm and has performance close to that of BP algorithm at high SNR on AWGN channel.
