Digital Subscriber Lines Echo Canceller with Adaptive Beamformer

Abstract

To increase the convergence speed and reduce the echo canceller complexity associated with the cancellations of digital subscribe loop echo responses with long tails, I propose a IIR echo canceller with adaptive beamformer. The proposed echo canceller was found to have faster convergence speed and substantial complexity reduction with conventional FIR and IIR echo canceller.
