dc.description.abstract | The test procedure of FMVSS 214 to a high strength steel and a composite impact beam is simulated using a nonlinear implicit finite element code ABAQUS. To compensate the lack of load in a composite impact beam, composite models reinforced by a steel pipe are simulated.
