Broadband sleeve monopole type antenna for dual-band PCS/IMT-2000
A modified sleeve monopole type antenna that features a novel broadband technique is demonstrated experimentally and numerically. A bandwidth of 24.2% (\S-11\ < -20dB) can be achieved, and an omnidirectional radiation pattern is obtained. The electrical characteristics of the proposed antenna make it attractive for use in mobile handset and repeater applications.
