The electrostatic boundary-value problem of a slotted conducting wedge is solved by using the Mellin transform. Eigen-function expansions are used to represent the fields, and boundary conditions are applied to constitute a set of simultaneous equations. Residue calculus is utilized to obtain a fast convergent series solution. The capacitance of a slotted conducting wedge is evaluated in terms of slot geometries.
