A boundary-value problem of radiation from a groove-backed antenna covered with ferrite is solved. Mode-matching and Fourier transform techniques are used to represent the radiation field in fast convergent series. The radiation efficiency and bandwidth are shown to increase when the groove-backed antenna is covered with ferrite.
