A new convenient method for the generation of alkoxy radicals from N-alkoxydithiocarbamates
N-Alkoxydithiocarbamates 2, which can be conveniently prepared from alkyl halides or alcohols using N-methylhydroxydithiocarbamate 1, are very useful precursors of alkoxy radicals.
