SPECTRAL CHARACTERISTICS OF VERTICAL-CAVITY SURFACE-EMITTING LASERS WITH EXTERNAL OPTICAL FEEDBACK

We report the effects of optical feedback on the spectra of vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSEL's). The measurements show that VCSEL's have feedback sensitivity comparable to that of conventional edge-emitting lasers.
