This work is dealing with thestufy of the hydrdynamics parameters of three-phase gas-liquid-solid fluidization. The experimental work was performed in a large size column(diameter 152 mm) with several gas distributors, glass beads and water, made little coalescent in some cases. Our results obtained with water as well as other result taken from litterature have been handled with a technique of prediction of phase holdup which combines models of bubble wakes with a correlation of the gas slip velocity. The possible influence of the coalescence-inhibiting behavior of the liquid is pointed out. In the case of large particles of low density a simple new modelling is proposed.
