Cooperative relay communication is an innovative concept that can improve the communication system``s quality and capacity. Therefore, this cooperative relay communication is very promising for the future wireless communications.
Until now, there are so many cooperative relay communication techniques achieve to increase of data transmission``s reliability. Among several methods, in this thesis, we propose effective single relay selection technique in cooperative communication mode. Through this technique, when data decoding failed in destination, we can retransmit a data passing through the reliable channel link. Therefore, we can achieve system performance enhancement in several measurements.
First, our proposed scheme decreases the flag message``s collision probability. If the collision event occurred, communication system defected by additional delay time. So collision probability``s decreasing is very fruitful and desirable work.
Furthermore, we can make less accessing time than conventional scheme due to our proposed timer mechanism.
Consequently, we can maximize the instantaneous channel gain. Selected relay``s instantaneous channel gain directly related to the data transmission capacity and BER performance. Therefore, in this process, we can achieve wireless communications QoS requirements.
