As a request of real-time services is increased, guaranteeing end-to-end delay has been an important issue in Quality of Service enabled networks. If we can assign an end-to-end delay requirement of each class optimally to each link, the whole network can be better utilized. Many previous studies utilize explicit resource reservation scheme based on WFQ (Weighted Fair Queuing). However, this can be resulted in waste of resource because it is based on worst case delay bound. Therefore we proposed a delay management strategy based on PATH TABLE which has a status of each link to guarantee end-to-end delay without resource reservation. Also, we propose how to apportion an end-to-end delay requirement among the domains. In addition, we adopt ADRR scheduler which can guarantee an assigned delay target effectively. We verify using simulation that by applying our propose delay management strategy based on PATH TABLE, we can achieve better network utilization than resource reservation scheme which using WFQ.
