Suggesting the way of home network service goes to : based on customer values based on customer values

A part of Home Network service was already introduced as a form of Home Automation service by many constructors. Although this introduction started few years ago, Home Network service seems not to attract many customers more than many experts expected. However, because various fields of industry and even the government are noticing the importance of Home Network service and its ripple effect, we just can not ignore the potential of Home Network service. We can booster and improve our IT strength through the success of Home Network service. The purpose of this paper is to generally suggest an appropriate way Home Network service goes to by investigating what values people look for the most from Home Network Service. To suggest the best direction of Home Network service goes to from now on, fully understanding customers must be done at first. From this point of view, we found customer values toward each sub-Home Network service, Home Entertainment service, Home Automation service, Home Data service and Health/Care service. Total six sets of Focus Group Interviews (FGI) were conducted. Based on this result, we proposed the way of Home Network services fitted for customer interest well. This paper provides a guideline helping service provider enter Home Network market effectively. Also, it offers a basic framework for further research such as survey to certify the most appropriate direction of Home Network services.
