The dynamic capability framework analyses the sources and methods of wealth creation and capture by private firm operating in environments of rapid technological change. But much of dynamic capability literature has been directed to the problems of large, matured firm in advanced countries. The purpose of this paper is to expand our understanding of dynamic into NTBF using case analysis. Our empirical case study of Korea successful NTBF, Humax in set-top box industry, suggests that it has well adapting to radical environment change. Humax, as a NTBF in comprehensive context, it showed a prominent capability to driven by taking the most advantage of technology and external resource. The process based upon learning and external integration is most conspicuous among the three factors of position, path, and process. While the position lacks such as financial asset and recognition, on the contrary technological and other institutional asset was found. The core rigidity was relatively weaker than existing large firm conversion to the related area so competitive advantage in terms of time to market through the fast introduction of technology was turn out to be strong.
