Shortly, IT has became immensely essential and must need commodities regardless of one`s financial and social status in daily life. However, elderly group, which is traditionally believed to be resistant to the change, frequently been neglected from both practitioners and academia in IT and relevant domains. Practitioners have continuously focusing their R&D and marketing efforts mainly on young group, meanwhile numerous researchers frequently considered the age as no more than just one of various demographic variables. However, as of 2009, one out of every ten population in Korea believed to be age over sixty-five, and overall elderly`s financial status is gradually improving mainly due to diverse private and public efforts to countermeasure aging society phenomenon(e.g. extension movements on the retirement age). Consequently the elderly market is becoming to a considerable extend. Thus, in this study, we implemented elderly oriented approach to explore in-depth nature which embedded in elderly`s adoption intention of the technology, particularly Internet Protocol Television(IPTV).
