| dc.description.abstract | This paper is to develop a conceptual framework regarding the choice among dispute-resolution mechanisms in channels of distribution. These mechanisms are characterized by the division of labor in resolving disputes. The choice of the mechanism depends on dispute environments. These environments concern culture and stratification.
