Travel-time models for the rack with a continuous rectangular pick face in automated storage/retrieval systems자동입/출고시스템에서 시간에 대한 직사각형 형태를 갖는 랙(Rack) 의 주행시간 모델
This thesis studies travel-time models for automated storage /retrieval(AS/R) machines in the automated storage/retrieval systems. It is assumed that the automated S/R machine travels simultaneously in the horizontal and vertical directions as it moves along a storage aisle. For the case of class-based storage, class partitioning values are determined for both two class and three class storage assignment and expected travel times are calculated for both single and dual command cycles.
Also, this study analyzes the effects of shape factors on the expected travel time.
Additionally, for the model developed, an interactive computer program is made to find expected travel times and shape factors.
