The objects of compensation considered in this model are 1) the degree of injury, 2) the change of earning capacity, 3) medical fee, 4) job suspension and 5) the degree of contributory negligence. By developing the methods of measuring quantitatively each object of compensation and weighting the comparative importance of these objects, this study seeks to obtain a mathematical function whose output variable is an appropriate monetary redress and whose input varibles are 1) diagnosis, 2) injured part of body, 3) treatment period, 4) healing period, 5) sex, 6) age, 7) wage, 8) occupation, 9) medical fee and 10) the grade of negligence. Five sub-functions for measuring the objects of compensation were defined. They are: 1. $f_1$ (diagnosis, injured part of body, treatment period, age, occupation) to measure the degree of injury, 2. $f_2$ (age, sex, $f_1$) to measure the change of earning capacity, 3. $f_3$ (medical fee) to calculate the medical fee, 4. $f_4$ (healing period, wage) to calculate the job suspension; and 5. $f_5$ (the grade of negligence) to measure the degree of contributory negligence. Then finally the main function, which is the objective of this study, was obtained. Appropriate Monetary Redress $= (wage. (1517.6(0.8f_1 + 0.2f_2) + 8.8) + f_3 + 0.6f_4).f_5$
