Bubble characteristics in the radial direction of three-phase fluidized beds.
Bubble characteristics of holdup, mean velocity and mean bubble chord length in a three phase fluidized bed of 0.254-ID with four different particle sizes (from 0.4-6.0mm) were determined n the radial direction using a U-shaped optical probe. The experimental method is described and results discussed.
