(A) study of phase-error correction in the high field NMR imaging고자계 핵자기 공명 영상에 있어서의 위상 오차 보정에 관한 연구

In the most NMR imaging techniques, magnitude technique is valuable to eliminate the phase error terms which are generated mainly due to electronics phase delay and phase delay within object. But this magnitude technique can not be used for special imaging techniques such as quadrature multiplexing, inversion recovery and so on, because these techniques require phase information in the image domain. The phase error should be measured and corrected for the above special imaging. The stronger the magnetic field is, the higher the signal to noise ratio is, whereas the more phase error is generated due to the phase delay within object. The causes of phase error in the high field NMR imaging are analyzed and their correction scheme is proposed. Under the KAIST superconducting magnet whose field strength is 2.0 tesla (85 MHz for proton), experimental study shows that this correction scheme is valuable for high field NMR imaging
