Basic theory and algorithm for line integral projection reconstruction technique in NMR CT are studied. Application of slice imaging with line integral and its associated problems arising in practical systems such as gradient rise time and phase instability are studied in detail. Along with the line integral projection reconstruction technique, a new pulse sequence using R.F. spin echo is proposed in order to overcome the above mentioned problems.
The results obtained by experiments and computer simulations are presented to demonstrate the advantages of the proposed pulse scheme. The proposed pulse scheme is expected to be used in other methods.
