Resource allocation for peer to peer communications in cellular networks = 셀룰러 망에서의 단말 간 통신 통신을 위한 자원 할당 기법

In this thesis, we provide a radio resource allocation scheme for P2P(peer to peer) communications in cellular networks. First we investigate the feasibility of P2P enabled cellular systems based on a cross layer framework with orthogonal resource allocation policy. For multi-carrier systems,the resource allocation part of cross layer algorithm becomes NP-hard and thus difficult to tackle in practice. By considering that, we propose a low complexity suboptimal algorithm with comparable performance. Second we change our resource allocation policy and moved onto the issue of sharing of spatially separate resource with peer nodes. We develop a distributed power allocation algorithm with minimal global information. The performance obtained from simulation results proves an added benefit of P2P in cellular networks.
