dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, we analyze the probability of bit error for a direct-sequence spread-spectrum communication in the presence of multiple-finite bandwidth interferences, multi-user interferences and multipletone interferences. The wide-sense stationary autoregressive Gaussian process is adopted as a model of the finite bandwidth interference. An exact formula for the bit error probability and its approximation with cumulative distribution functions of three interference terms are presented. Numerical results and their information theoretic interpretations are discussed. | eng |
