As the idle power saving technology developing, the transmission power has taken a large portion of energy consumption in wireless ad-hoc network. There have been many trials to save transmission power, but such trials have been assumed that the topology of the network is static. Ad-hoc environment assume that each node has mobility. In this paper we suggest a transmission power control algorithm which can use in dynamic topology.
In dynamic topology, the link error by node mobility augment in an alarming way and power control algorithm can not easily achieve symmetric link in reduced power control environment. We propose a power control mechanism to minimize link error by mobility and to guarantee symmetric link. Simulation results show that our algorithm can reduce much transmission power without much loss of throughput.
