dc.description.abstractWe analyze the performance of soft handoff used as intergroup handoff in the fiber-optic cellular system. Performance is evaluated in view of blocking and handoff refused probability. The numerical results show that the smaller the handoff region or the mc,re the channel, the larger thf system capacity.-
